The Kampa Museum represents a unique place in the old part of Kampa and offers a rare view of Hradčany, Charles Bridge and the entire riverbank. The museum resides in Sova's Mills, a building restored under the lead of architect Josef Schulz. The museum was opened ceremonially in 2003. Since that time, and due to the Foundation of Jan and Meda Mládek, it has been taking care of a vast collection of works by two icons of 20th century art, František Kupka and Otto Gutfreund, as well as the Collection of Central European Modern Art. Every floor of the museum, the courtyard and even the “stables” can be used to host social events such as receptions, banquets, social dinners, business or company presentations, fashion shows, weddings, etc.
